(Maybe you've heard this, but just in case you haven't)
IRON OUT YOUR PROBLEMS:
One method of cleaning a dirty iron is to use table salt. Place newspaper on the ironing board. Place a generous amount of table salt in the center of the newspaper. Heat the iron and move in a circular motion over the salt until all residue is removed...
